What is Lifeline?

Lifeline is a federal government program that provides affordable and subsidized phone connectivity for qualified Americans.

Federal Public Housing Assistance or Section 8

Federal program providing affordable housing options for low-income families, seniors, and people with disabilities. Qualification criteria include income limits, citizenship or immigration status, and criminal history.

Calfresh, Food Stamps or Supplemental Nutrition Assistant Program (SNAP)

Federal program providing food benefits to low-income individuals and families, to supplement their grocery budget.

Medicaid /MediCal Program

Provides monthly payments to adults and children with a disability or blindness who have income and resources below specific financial limits. Also provides monthly payments to people age 65 and older without disabilities who meet the financial qualification.

Veteran and Survivors Pension Benefit

Is a tx-free monthly benefit paid by the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) to low-income, un-remarried surviving spouse and unmarried dependent child(ren) of a deceased wartime Veteran.

WIC

Woman, Infants, and Children Program (WIC) – This program helps pregnant, post-partum, breast feeding women, infants and children up to 5 years of age. By providing supplemental foods to ensure good health and development.
